If a vehicle is rejected by the customer following delivery or collection, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction for usage in accordance with consumer legislation.
Where a vehicle has been driven after delivery or collection and is subsequently rejected, a usage charge of £0.35 per mile will be applied for each mile covered from the point of handover to the point of return.
The mileage will be calculated based on the difference between the recorded mileage at handover and the mileage at return.
This deduction reflects fair use of the vehicle and covers depreciation, wear and tear, and loss in value resulting from use beyond inspection purposes.
Any refund due will be processed after:
- The vehicle has been returned to our premises,
- The vehicle has been inspected,
- The final mileage has been verified,
- Any applicable deductions have been calculated.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
